My Ideal Job
I’d like to be a lock keeper
That’s the job for me
He push the button
Lock opens
Boat’s pass
Endless farce
People smile
And wave a while
That’s the job for me
I’d like to be a train driver
That’s the job for me
He pull the lever
Train shudders
Platforms pass
Pointless farce
Faces blur
And all concur
That’s the job for me
I’d like to be a grave digger
That’s the job for me
He dig the dirt
And don’t get hurt
Caskets pass
Timeless farce
Bodies fade
To simple shade
Now that’s the job for me
When’d I become a dream weaver
Why that’s the job for me
I taps the keys
Words appear
Thoughts pass
Seamless farce
Phantoms seem
To weakly gleam
Yes that’s the job for me
